Sunday, May 25, 2008. The rest of journey was smooth. Ended up with no camera (my cam had US charger so I didnt bring it and Kapils cam just didnt work huh! We finally took the chopper around 6:30 and within 5 minutes we reached the Bhavan which 'ideally' had taken atleast 5 hours if we had gone by foot. We got entry in the army gate 3 and were done with the darshan around 9 o'clock. We had dinner and were decently tired when these people had finalized on not. Thanks to mobile phones).

Saturday, May 24, 2008. As soon as Abhinav and Pavan saw the bed, they just crashed. Now as someone rightly pointed out - 'have you gone so far just to sleep', so offcourse I woke them up :D and had to hear all sorts of abuse for waking them up. Well! Again After coming back we also noticed that our great car owner had left his window totally open inviting carjackers with both hands, but the place is so devoid of people that we would have found the car even if we had come back a day later :D. Now till da...

Friday, May 30, 2008. Another weekend. Another trip. Me, Abhinav, Sourabh and Jagan took off to a splendid weekend trip. A hill station which is not heard of, a place that is far from civilization, thats Chakrata. We started around 6:00 and our first stop was Paonta Sahib Gurudwara. We did not plan to go there, but because it came on the way we just went to pay a visit. Ate in the 'langar' too after a longgg time, it was fun. Behind me is Paonta Sahib Gurudwara. First view of hills. And Maggi and Pasta.

Thursday, July 12, 2007. My Jiju (Kapil) and I were making plans of going to Haridwar (or Hardwar) and I asked Jagan and Abhinav too. All this happened on Friday evening and the plan was final. This trip was going to be one of those best experience because I was taking my Car along and I had to drive all the way :) . Haridwar, just 150kms didnt sound like a big deal though. The plan changed. There is a waterfall called as SahastraDhara that we had to visit in Dehradun and then come back to Haridwar&#...

Monday, June 5, 2006. A trip so good that it brought me back to blogging world after full 40 da. Ns of roaming (i.e. taxi). And obviously, we are not regretting it. We saw 3 accidents in all. A bike and a scooter, an overturned auto (in front of our eyes :(, 3 seconds more and it would have hit our car : , and a bike hit a cow (. The guy was injured badly). Thats not possible). The breeze was real cool. Curious to know the temperature of water, AC almost drowned himself. Alas! We took a room in Ganga Sa.

Monday, May 25, 2009. Delhi-Leh-Delhi Bike Trip - June 2009. Both of us have always craved to travel to Ladakh on our bikes. Thankfully to my new lifestyle (aka marriage and then kid), I could not have thought of leaving the family and travelling so far on bike. Add to this, the normal reaction of a joint family is “Are you guys nuts? Go by air, and then hire a taxi.” Alas, to some people travelling on a two wheeler for a long ride is as close as it gets to insanity. The purpose of this write-up is to pr...
