Identifying with your business. Wednesday, 19 November 2014. FIM 2010: Event driven scheduling. In a previous post I described how I implemented a windows service for scheduling Forefront Identity Manager. Identifying with your business. Friday, 20 June 2014. SQL Query for the FIM2010 admin account. Recently, I came across a FIM2010 deployment that wasn't very well documented. My task was to review the deployment but how could I get admin access to the FIM Portal if I didn't know which account to use? The answer is in the FIMService database and this query will get it for you:. SELECT Distinct a.AttributeName,p.[ValueString]. Where o.ObjectID ='7fb2b853-24f0-4498-9534-4e10589723c4'. Conor's Web Log of Esoterica. Hey, I just happen to have an opinion or two. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Consent for my own software to look at my data? Here in the US (and I presume elsewhere) the annual rite of passage of doing one's taxes is upon use yet again. Once you've done something crazy like getting married, having kids or buying a house, the whole process gets more and more complicated as you try to minimize the amount of taxes you owe Uncle Sam. What isn't clear to me from the disclosure is: a...

Security, something, something. Jan 4, 2013. Step-up authentication as-a-service for SURFnet. Two-factor authentication used to be the domain of secret services and the military. Security, something, something. Feb 9, 2012. Context information can make authorization management more flexible and more secure. Knowing when and where users are, and what they are up to helps in determining which access rules to apply. With Rabobank and IBM where we ask (and answer) questions such as:. What authorization related use-cases could benefit from context information? Which context-sources are relevant, mature enough, secure enough to be used today (or in the very near future)?
