Top 5 packing hacks. There's nothing I hate more than not being able to fit everything I could possibly need in my suitcase. For a trip away. I've learnt so many sneaky ways to make the most of my luggage over the years so thought it was about time to share them with you. 1 Write a list of what you need. It sounds super simple but it avoids a) packing too much and b) leaving an essential at home (you know like your toothbrush, makeup wipes or emergency box of tampax)! 2 Roll or bundle your clothes. The l...

Lush Perth x Bloggers United. To celebrate a year of connecting Australia bloggers the ladies behind Bloggers United. Decided to put on a series of birthday events across Australia teaming up with Lush to play host. It's absolutely no secret that I'm a lushie at heart (I mean it'd be rude not too seeing as they were founded in my home town in England) so I jumped at the chance of attending. Here's just a few of the things I picked up :. Rosy cheeks fresh face mask. Let the good times roll. Is a total new...

Swellbound / australian lifestyle blog : week one
http://www.swellboundblog.com/2017/01/week-one.html
Week one, 2017. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. I really wanted a photo to sum up my week and when I was photographing some candles I recently bought from a handmade market, I saw this through the viewfinder and knew it was the photo to sum up my first week of 2017. The candle is from Possum and Blossom. A Perth based business who sell a beautiful array of candles and body products. How was your start to 2017? Week one, 2017.

After a short four hour flight we landed and hopped on the train to our hotel, Intercontinental Sydney. I booked the hotel based on it's location right on circular quay, and we were able to get a good discount on a harbour view room. Being completely honest the room itself was a bit of a let down, but the views were to die for. We dropped our bags and head for a walk through the botanical gardens, which were just across the road. Hands up who loves a cheesy tourist photo? Have you been to Sydney before?

Hilton Brisbane hotel review. The view of Brisbane city from our hotel room. Right in the middle of Brisbane CBD is Elizabeth street, a short walk to the botanic gardens, south bank and Queen street mall and that too, is where you'll find the Brisbane Hilton. With a range of rooms and suites, valet parking, on site restaurant and bar, tennis court, swimming pool and spa the hotel is perfect for holiday makers and business professionals alike. Which were again wonderfully clean and empty and had an incred...

One year in australia. I absolutely cannot believe we've lived in Perth for a whole year now (technically a year and 4 days), so much has happened and our lives have changed so dramatically. I thought it was only fair to write a little summary post of our first year in Australia, filled with our roller coaster journey so far. Which is a yearly event held at Claremont show grounds (check out the linked blog post, it's hard to explain). After almost two months of searching we found our first aussie house.

It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home. Short but sweet for week three, we finally settled on our first house! Our amazing real estate agent met us quickly late one evening to give us the keys and a bottle of wine with a lovely welcome home card. I can't wait to show you all the photos of our home, all my inspiration for decorating (now we finally don't rent and can paint walls- yay! And to document our renovation journey. LUSH valentines collection 2017. The kiss Lip scrub.
