Thursday, September 22, 2011. Happy Birthday, Alissa and Drew! Today, Drew turns 3 years old! He is the sweetest nephew you could ask for. He's becoming such a big boy! It is Alissa's birthday, too. Isn't it cool that Drew was born on Alissa's birthday? Happy birthday to Alissa (aka Mom Extraordinaire)! You should have seen me this morning. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Our Trip to Indianapolis. For my birthday last November, Pat bought me tickets to see the Indianapolis Colts play the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 19. We traveled to Indy but couldn't fly Southwest. When we arrived in Indy, our bags had other plans. My suitcase was stuck in Detroit, and Pat's took an even longer trip. Thankfully, we got our bags about 6 hours later. Our walk to Lucas Oil Stadium was extremely cold with freshly fallen snow. It was so cold! I am a slacker!

I'm happy to report that my family and I are all fine, and we had no property damage aside from the contents of our fridge. The power was out in the entire area for four or five days.
