Blue Skies provides aerial film scanning services, utilizing the Wehrli and Associates, Inc. RM-6 and RM-3 photogrammetric scanners. The Whehrli scanners meet or exceed all photogrammetric standards for radiometric and geometric accuracy and can achieve scan resolutions as high as 8 microns. Their roll film scanning capability increases scan quality while reducing costs and saving time. Scanning services are performed under Blue Skies' ISO 9001:2008-certified quality management system. One of our aircraft is a turbo-charged Cessna TU206. The aircraft (N756JA) is a 1978 G model equipped for large-format aerial photography and remote sensing application. It uses a real-time kinematic GPS system for flight-line navigation. The aircraft can stay aloft for up to 4 hours between fuel stops. An average cruising speed of 130 miles per hour gives it an effective range of more than 520 miles. The aircraft is certified for continuous operations at altitudes up to 27,000 feet mean sea level.

For a 2008 Seawind 1160, two 140 watt solar panels installed above the dinghy davits were an option, but they weren’t installed on our boat.
