Bookcook: CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PUDDING
http://bookcook.blogspot.com/2014/09/chocolate-peanut-butter-pudding.html
Thursday, September 18, 2014. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PUDDING. When I first discovered. How simple and gratifying it is to make homemade pudding, I went bonkers for it. Over the next three years, I gradually worked my way through every type I could think of. And loved them all, but I regret to say that chocolate peanut butter didn’t cross my mind until I saw this recipe. In an issue of Cooking Light. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 2 tablespoons Dutch process cocoa. 1½ cups milk. 189; teaspoon vanilla. I'm an ...
Bookcook: FAVORITE RECIPES OF 2013
http://bookcook.blogspot.com/2014/01/favorite-recipes-of-2013.html
Saturday, January 11, 2014. FAVORITE RECIPES OF 2013. Roasted Tomato, Kale, and Feta Pizza. Building on one of my favorite recipes of 2012, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes. This is pretty much my ideal pizza—a little spicy, a little sweet, a little salty, a little tart, a little earthy, loaded with vegetables, plenty cheesy, and easy to put together. Sold! I’d been making a plain version. As an occasional break from granola since 2010, but with my discovery of the wealth of flavor variations at Budget Bytes.
Bookcook: CARNITAS
http://bookcook.blogspot.com/2014/02/carnitas.html
Thursday, February 06, 2014. Hey, I made carnitas! And it was super easy! And one of the best meals I cooked in 2013! I can’t stop using exclamation points! My heart skipped a beat. It sounded doable—put meat and liquid in a pot and throw it in the oven for a few hours. The hardest part would be obtaining a pork shoulder, and that didn’t turn out to be difficult at all (the meat counter at Whole Foods has pretty much everything). Which turns out to be from the Homesick Texan. And it was excellent. Subscr...
Bookcook: CHICKEN PARMESAN MEATBALLS
http://bookcook.blogspot.com/2015/01/chicken-parmesan-meatballs.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I don’t get the big deal with chicken Parm, so it wasn’t the title of this recipe that drew me in—just the alluring photo of cheese-blanketed tomato-sauce-glazed chicken meatballs nestled alongside wilted spinach I spotted while paging through Dinner: The Playbook. At the library. Apparently this is one of the most popular recipes at Dinner: A Love Story. 1¼ pounds ground chicken. 189; cup dried breadcrumbs (I used panko). 3 tablespoons minced onion. 189; cup grated Parmesan.
Bookcook: BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA WITH CILANTRO SLAW
http://bookcook.blogspot.com/2015/04/bbq-chicken-pizza-with-cilantro-slaw.html
Saturday, April 04, 2015. BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA WITH CILANTRO SLAW. So it’s official: I don’t hate cabbage anymore. I’m not apt to look at a recipe and think, “Ooh, cabbage! Last year, it actually looked like a good idea. I always feel the need to serve a salad with my BBQ pizza. Since it’s the rare meal in my arsenal that’s pretty much vegetable-free, so why not just throw the salad right on top? I didn’t use CL. 2 teaspoons cider vinegar. 2 teaspoons olive oil (or canola oil). One of the things I like abou...

Ohand when did the BLB's servers become so formal? Eg "and the [special] was quite to my liking," he said with hands clasped gently in that yin-yang shape.). Posted by a. at 2:56 PM. Psst, three times/three ways. Three things from Friday:. A constant pit of smouldering nervousness in my heart. This will not be elaborated on in print. In the end, things were okay (yet sadly not okay.). It was, to quote my sister, very original. Psst made it work in a number of ways. They were frames on many levels. An...

From my country home. This is it! My life, my adventures and my challenges. Monday, August 30, 2010. In a big bowl with a lot of tasty salty briny things, all swimming in an amazing garlicky oregano dressing. I love it. Long story slightly longer: My friend S brought a delicious pasta salad to one of our picnics earlier this summer, explaining that she’d adapted it from the Smitten Kitchen version of Nancy Silverton’s chopped salad from Mozza. 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
