Return to Parks and Wildlife Service. The Overland Track is Australias premier alpine walk. It's a six day walk, travelling 65 kilometres from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair. Through the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Bookings are required for each walking season (1 October to 31 May). You may enter the booking system to view the Availability Calendar, without committing yourself to a booking. This booking system uses a simple six-step process. A progress bar.
