Our definition of the temporary period of rest known as "Respite Care" is the one which applies to people who give care to the ill, the disabled and the vulnerable. It is an essential resource for caregivers, who can become easily stressed and suffer from caregiver burnout. We believe tht it is important to remember that carers also need care. BCS can provide Respite Care at reasonable cost. Short breaks can be arranged from a few hours to a few weeks.
