Ate at several great restaurants, Lulu's was my fav! Took the kids to play mini golf, ride go carts, and bumper boats. Also took the time for some much needed family photos on the beach. We took all the kids to an egg hunt at the Elks Lodge on Saturday, then came home and played outside all afternoon. Sunday we had lunch at my Meme's and had an egg hunt there. The kids like that egg hunt. There's money in those eggs! It was a gorgeous weekend! Caleb is working hard! Nanny with her great grandchildren. They can be sweet to each other sometimes!

Thursday, April 7, 2011. Even though they are few and far between, it's always such a treat to spend time with my precious friends/roomies from college! We joke about how before (before kids, that is :) we would plan a get-together at least once a season for an entire weekend (either shopping in Bham, at the beach or hanging out at the lake). It was mainly an opportunity for parents and grandparents to see a glimpse of what the girls have been learning in ballet. Saturday, February 18, 2012. On Wednesday Tripp had his tonsils and adenoids removed. The surgery went great and so far recovery is going really well. He's been a precious patient! Pre-Op - pretending like the gas mask is a "Darth Vader" mask. Showing off his new Star Wars figurines that Nanie brought to keep him occupied. Day after surgery - not feeling great, but hanging in there. It's funny how dogs know when you're not feeling well. Samson usually tries to sit with me, but not this time :).

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. We are the Champions! In case you've been living under a rock and just crawled out. Auburn beat Oregon last night to win the BCS National Championship Title! Auburn 22 - Oregon 19. Waiting for the game to begin. It doesn't get much better than a blazing hot fire and watching Auburn play for the National Championship! Dressed and ready for Toomer's! We began the holiday with an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma B's house with lots of tasty food including amazing orange rolls! Not only did Kev's team take 1st place (go La Roca), but we had a fun filled weekend with lots of shopping, eating, hiking, swimming, running, and just plain old relaxing!
