Carolina Adventures: December 2007
http://carolinaliving.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 15, 2007. This gothic style church is in downtown New Bern. It is very large and somewhat forboding. For some odd reason, the front entrance brings to mind the Spanish Inquisition! LOL I guess for me it's the heavy architecture. I had to go across the street and to the back of an alley to get this picture and I still couldn't get it all in there. You know I love history! There is no defining line between the two. I grinned to myself when I saw it, thinking.oh yeah! I have to say, I've ...

Welcome to Heather's place! Saturday, May 19, 2007. This one is about Luke. Today will be about Luke. Luke was really surprised. To see our neighbor, Todd, on a new Harley. With it being Harley week, both boys are motorcycle wild. Luke wanted a short ride. They went up the street and then in a cul. Sac clinging to Mr. Todd. He loved it. Nana, do you see his crocs. They haven't been off his feet since he got them. :). I think he has the baseball stance down pretty well.:). Wednesday, May 16, 2007. This is...

Welcome to Heather's place! Saturday, September 8, 2007. Luke looking at Jeff talking to Luke. Here is one of my favorite things. When we can talk to Jeff on the cuter. Thanks to Yahoo, we talk free. Usually we don't get video as well as audio, but yesterday we got lucky! They doodle together, play games together, generally laugh for an hour or so. Charlie was about home from school at the time of this picture. He then took his turn playing and talking. Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Well, it's happened!

Carolina on My Mind: Jacob's first deer
http://thematthewsgang.blogspot.com/2007/11/jacobs-first-deer.html
Carolina on My Mind. Friday, November 30, 2007. Hey guys, I am back! Mom let me use her card reader while I am still searching for the cord for my camera uploads! And quite frankly I forgot all about blogging until I was reminded! The Saturday after Thanksgiving, Jacob killed his first deer! He saw it, aimed, and took the shot all by himself! I am so proud, as is his daddy! You probably can't tell by the look on his face, but he is pretty excited about it too! Pretty good for the first one! Other Photo a...

Carolina on My Mind: July 2008
http://thematthewsgang.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Carolina on My Mind. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Emily has been wanting a puppy for awhile now. The catch was she didn't want the puppy to grow to be as big as Harley. As luck would have it, Shane's aunt's dog which was a shihzu-pekinese had puppies. Ruby was promised to someone else, but that someone wasn't able to take her home, so.she came home with us! As they say). I had to give her to them because she didn't like the snow. Anyway, here they are: Emily and Ruby! Neither one could be happier!

Welcome to Heather's place! Friday, April 13, 2007. This is yesterday's newspaper. The Sun News has a Neighbors section every Thursday. Luke is in the picture in the bottom Left. We don't get the paper, so Haven, my friend, showed this to me. Now he is the local celebrity in the neighborhood! Here is an enlargement of the picture. It's a little. Fuzzy, but it's the best I could do. Monday, April 9, 2007. Lions and Tigers and.Llamas? Because it hisses with a drawl. There are about a dozen fish tanks f...

Val's View: End of the Season
http://vsm2112.blogspot.com/2007/10/end-of-season.html
Monday, October 29, 2007. End of the Season. Last weekend (10/21) was a very nice one but a sad one. We took our very last camping trip of the season which would also be our very last at the lake you see here. The Philadelphia based church has decided to close it down, do to some shananigan's. The weather was just perfect though. The two out in the boat are my husband Robert and my niece Andrea. Later that day we painted pumpkins, celebrated my birthday and made smores by the fire. Fun was had by all.
