My Crunchy Life is Funny. Saturday, September 21, 2013. Charlotte and Mercy goofing around in our new apartment in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia! Wednesday, September 11, 2013. That's right, today, Sept 11 marks the new year on the Ethiopian calendar and it is officially 2006! What a great day! We started the day with good friends taking a walk to a nearby hotel which had a nice park, eating ice cream (a rare treat) and playing. Also finished today was setting up one room of our apartment as a homeschooling room.

Monday, March 2, 2009. I think I have an unexplored talent for the game. I can do the guitar and the bass, but the drums blew my mind. I had very little coordination on that instrument! Brian, however, seemed to rock the drum set. So now we know, if we ever get the opportunity to compete in a Guitar Hero contest again, I'm the guitarist and he's the drummer.
