Sunday, April 21, 2013. At the Celtic Festival. We had a great time at the Celtic Festival. Playing Fairy, learning about different Scottish clans, watching crazy strong men and women, listening to pipes and drums, and watching the drum major competitions. Such fun. She spent the entire show completely captivated by absolutely everything. It actually brought tears to my eyes to watch her reactions. My 11-year-old niece, Phoenix, and I performed as the opening act for a collaborative production by Romanteek and the Tall House Arts Consortium, called "All of the Shadows Open" - an astounding evening of live music, daring acrobatics, and eloquent movement.
