She was 20.5 inches long and weighed a whopping 9 pounds 3 ounces. We were all a little surprised at that since her last ultrasound estimated her weight to be about 7 pounds. Mark talked about the emotions associated with semi-crisis situations, from frustration, to trying to problem solve, to the realization that sometimes we have to accept help. One of the sweetest women who adopted Kenny when he started working at Second Baptist so many years ago is now finally cancer free and in the presence of our savior. A Small Sample of Us. Monday, November 17, 2014. Claire is already 6 months old. Wow. Time is flying by so much faster than it seemed to with Reed. Before we know it, we'll be celebrating her birthday. She will see her doctor on Friday, so I don't have her 6 month stats. Suffice it to say that I'm sure she has doubled her birth weight by now. A Small Sample of Us. Friday, April 25, 2014. Oh goodness you guys. We will be meeting this little girl so soon! I start maternity leave on May 12th (just 2 weeks away! And would appreciate it if she could wait until then. It' so surreal to think that I will finally get to meet this baby so soon. That I will be a mother of two. That I will have a daughter. That the journey of the past 9 months is about to be over and I will begin another one. I'm at once excited and terrified. Oh sheesh.pray for us!
