The Place To Be. Saturday, November 20, 2010. I can't believe it's been MONTHS since I posted last! Life gets so busy and we get caught up in our day to day that time slips by without me realizing it! We've had so much fun the past few weeks, here's some of what we've been doing. Shua and the Vikings! Thursday, September 25, 2008. I was eating lunch the other day and noticed a strange situation taking place on the street. There was a gentleman who was walking across the street, in a crosswalk, and a car did not stop to let him cross. All the sudden, a police car threw his car in drive, flipped on the sirens and took off after this car. Yep, another police car flipped on the sirens and pulled the guy over. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Not Exactly a Green Thumb. The heat spell broke, and all seemed well . . . until this afternoon. We got a rainstorm, then the wind started picking up, then the hail came. When all was said and done, not much was left of my little garden. Actually, we got off pretty lucky. I lost most of my plants in my garden, and the mesquite in my backyard is bowed over, but many got it worse. Saturday, October 2, 2010. What a hard worker, and sure fun to watch! Monday, January 31, 2011. The holidays are now over. *SIGH* Sadness and relief all rolled up into one big sigh. Now that the holidays are done, we have resumed our day-to-day life, and I finally feel like I can function normally and not on "panic mode.". My little girl has started gymnastics this month and is. But today during sharing time I was grateful I was there. The little girl that gave the scripture made my day.
