Building The St. Roch

Saturday, 12 November 2011. FINISHED - FOR NOW! I've decided that I can't wait any longer to start on my new project (Billing Boats NORDKAP), so I'm gonna put this model on the mantlepiece in the lounge and come back to it another day. I've done as much to it as I want to right now. Here's what it looks like. Tuesday, 8 November 2011. CARGO BOOM and RAILINGS. Seemed to take a loooong time tonight for very little progress. Mainly because I acted like a complete ASS! OMG, I couldn't believe how dumb I was!

Building The St. Roch: READY FOR SATIN CLEAR COTE

http://buildingthestroch.blogspot.com/2011/11/ready-for-satin-clear-cote.html

Saturday, 5 November 2011. READY FOR SATIN CLEAR COTE. Not progressed much - but I'm getting closer to being ready to apply a satin coat to the boat to give it a bit of lustre. To be honest, I just want to put this boat to one side and start on the Nordkap, learning from all the mistakes I've made on this. I will, however, do my best to ignore that urge. Building The St. Roch: CLEAR COTE APPLIED

http://buildingthestroch.blogspot.com/2011/11/clear-cote-applied.html

Sunday, 6 November 2011. Today was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to apply some Humbrol Satin Clear Cote to the boat. I thinned it with Enamel Thinners and applied it with my Aztec AirBrush. You can't really tell from this photo, but it went on really well and looks fine. I also spent some time making up various bits and bats like winches, etc. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Building The St. Roch: TO PAINT OR NOT TO PAINT

http://buildingthestroch.blogspot.com/2011/10/to-paint-or-not-to-paint.html

Saturday, 8 October 2011. TO PAINT OR NOT TO PAINT. That is the question! I change my mind constantly on this subject. On the one hand, I could keep it all unpainted and use the kit as a "first exercise" in boat-building, or I could paint it and have it end up looking like a toy from the £-SHOP! If I do paint it, I would at least, gain from the mistakes I make there. Hmmmm, I'll sleep on it. Anyway, I've also fitted the masts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow by Email (No Spam).

Building The St. Roch: NEARLY READY FOR SPRAYING

http://buildingthestroch.blogspot.com/2011/10/nearly-ready-for-spraying.html

Wednesday, 26 October 2011. NEARLY READY FOR SPRAYING. Had a few chores to do tonight, so I didn't get too much done. Planked the front of the cabin section down the main deck, then painted it. Also put on the rail-strips on the starboard side of the hull (had completely forgotten to do them and hadn't noticed until now). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow by Email (No Spam). ST ROCH GETS 1st COAT OF PAINT. GOT SOMETHING IN MY EYE! NEARLY READY FOR SPRAYING. I OFFICIALLY HATE ROPE!

Building the Sex

Love your iPhone, but don’t *LOVE* your iPhone. Oh, but no sex please. The real casualty of this, predictably, is sex. No pornography is allowed to be distributed this way, and there is no other way to distribute. There are a whole lot of sex-positive uses for an iphone, but this delivery method is going to stand in the way of us seeing a raft of customer vibrator interfaces, dirty adult games, or whatever other sexual ideas our creative minds might come up with. The Surf Shack!

Monday, November 1, 2010. So now it is time to work on the inside of the project and this post will deal with the main wet area which is located in my end between the Kitchen/dining/sitting area and my bedroom. The first job that needs doing is getting the floor tiled and we contract local tiler Alan Bourne. We have decided to clad this area in Villaboard with one length of colorbond as a feature and laminex in the shower area over the Villaboard. Monday, June 14, 2010. So all is looking pretty damn fine...
