This is Redemption: Wednesday's Word
http://builtontruth.blogspot.com/2007/01/wednesdays-word_7619.html
Ramblings of a restored son. Wednesday, January 17, 2007. Managers vs. Leaders. Managers ask how and when, Leaders ask what and why. Managers focus on systems, Leaders focus on people. Managers do things right, Leaders do the right things. Managers maintain, Leaders develop. Managers copy, Leaders show originality. Managers have their eye on the bottom line,. Leaders have their eye on the horizon. Managers have short-term perspective,. Leaders have long-term perspective. May not be a leader.

This is Redemption: Strange Living
http://builtontruth.blogspot.com/2007/01/strange-living.html
Ramblings of a restored son. Thursday, January 25, 2007. Borrowing the title from Tuesday night's message at seven:ten. I wanted to post a variety of words that are written on the whiteboard in my bedroom. I constantly ask myself, "Does this describe me? This question moves me forward in prayer to be dependent on Christ; for without Him I would never possess any of these qualities:. B- that is awesome. You do posses those qualities, and I see Christ in you more and more. To God be the glory.

This is Redemption: ALIVE and WELL
http://builtontruth.blogspot.com/2007/04/alive-and-well.html
Ramblings of a restored son. Sunday, April 08, 2007. The crux of Christianity is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Death could not Handle Him – The Grave could not Hold Him. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. 8220;Death is swallowed up in victory.”. 8220;O Death, where is your victory? O Death, where is your sting? Jesus was declared to be the Son of God by the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead. 08 April, 2007. Hey broth...

The Sanctifying Pursuit of God: One post for every year right?
http://brentklontz.blogspot.com/2008/08/one-post-for-every-year-right.html
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Tuesday, August 05, 2008. One post for every year right? Well it has been over a year since my last post and I thought that it would be important to update just a few things. 1 I'm married now to the most amazing woman, Sarah Joy Klontz. 2 I'm loving working as a youth pastor at CBC. 3 I'm amazed that blogspot keeps me on file with as little activity as I've had. Well, that's all for now:). Posted by Brent Klontz at 11:16 AM. View my complete profile. God is the Gospel.
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God: March 2005
http://brentklontz.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Monday, March 28, 2005. As I sit here in the ASU library, I am reminiscing on the events thus far from my day, and the one word that I can’t get out of my mind is relevance. Specifically, I’ve been thinking about relevance to my culture. As a Christian, there is nothing that I desire more than to be like Christ, but how can I be relevant in this world with conflicting interests? Posted by Brent Klontz at 2:05 PM. Saturday, March 19, 2005. It’s going to be like a million de...
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God: Bittersweet Goodbye
http://brentklontz.blogspot.com/2007/05/bittersweet-goodbye.html
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Sunday, May 20, 2007. For all who have ever prayed that God would open a ministry position at Camelback Bible Church, I thank you so much. The first month for me at CBC has been such a joy and God has already been blessing the ministry. Though I am so incredibly blessed to be at CBC, it was still a bittersweet goodbye as I left my home church of 10 years. The following is a letter that I wrote to EVBC staff and Elders before I started working at Camelback Bible Church.
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God: July 2005

The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Friday, July 22, 2005. Just 9 days left in Mexico. To my dear friends and family,. I can hardly believe that I have already spent nearly five weeks in Mexico . . . and in just 10 days (July 31st), I’ll be coming home again! I have definitely been blessed so far on this trip, and I have learned so much through serving the Lord. There are a few strategic things that I want to accomplish as I am here for the remainder of the time:. Thank you all so much for your prayers!
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God: February 2005
http://brentklontz.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Saturday, February 26, 2005. Through the course of my time on staff, my theme verse has been to say with Paul, follow me as I follow Christ. Wow, this is so much easier said than done. Though I try to live my life for Christ in all that I do, having 21 sets of eyes and ears watching me is huge accountability, and a reminder of where I fall short. Posted by Brent Klontz at 8:36 PM. Tuesday, February 22, 2005. This quote goes right in line with Ro. 1:16 where Paul affirm...

The Sanctifying Pursuit of God. Monday, June 27, 2005. DRIVING AND MEXICO . . . YIKES! Anyway, the drivers down here are much different than in the states, and yesterday I had the pleasure of learning this lesson the hard way. First to put the story in perspective, here are a few of my 20 specific prayer requests that I gave out before the trip:. 14 That God would bless my locomotion throughout the trip (safety and no accidents). 16 That I would consider it pure joy through any trials I encounter. Don't Fence Me In. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Flight comes soon, and so do the flight costs. Above: Missionary Aviation students at Moody Bible Institute wheel a Cessna 337 out of a hangar during their airframe maintenance training. By this summer, they should have their Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics' certificates, but many wonder how they will pay for their upcoming flight training. July 13th, 2009. Would you pray a bold prayer, that God would provide for my class's upcoming expenses in thi...
Don't Fence Me In: Chasing Needles
http://jonathanschultz.blogspot.com/2014/09/chasing-needles.html
Don't Fence Me In. Saturday, September 13, 2014. Work how I'd like. I will usually end up at the other extreme of what I want. We call this "chasing the needles", because the pilot notices a problem but overreacts to it, making an uncomfortable ride. If I instead look outside at my airplane's pitch when I adjust it and then let the plane stabilize at the new speed, I'll fly my airspeed much more precisely. You've seen an extreme that you want to correct, but if your focus is on not.
Don't Fence Me In: "Off Centerline, Correcting"
http://jonathanschultz.blogspot.com/2014/10/off-centerline-correcting.html
Don't Fence Me In. Friday, October 10, 2014. Off Centerline, Correcting". Generally, side stripes give us enough distance from other cars. We can wander around in our lane a fair bit. Some drivers of average-sized vehicles carelessly drift around in their lanes like a ball thrown by a five-year-old at a bumper bowling alley. When these types of drivers take flight lessons, they use the entire runway as one giant lane. Where in life do I wander from side to side? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Don't Fence Me In. Monday, May 26, 2008. Serving on the Amazon this Summer! Above: A Cessna Caravan used by Asas de Socorro to fly missionaries along the Amazon. (Photo courtesy Darrel Carver.). To my friends and family,. I’m very excited to show you an opportunity God has opened in Brazil! From mid-June to mid-August, I plan on serving as a short-term missionary—cleverly disguised as an aircraft mechanic on the Amazon River. On top of the opportunity to serve, this will also be my first missions trip!
