Comics.Movies.TV.Stuff I Like.Stuff I Think About.Stuff I Think Is Funny.Stuff. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. So, according to the report I saw on the CBS Evening News last night, Al Qaeda has a new weapon in its arsenal. Not to be indelicate but basically they've taken a page from drug mules and are inserting explosives in, umm, let's call it a very uncomfortable place and detonating them with a cell phone. Monday, September 21, 2009. The short version is: I don't care about either of these topics. T...

Again With the Comics: Comics' Numerical Nightmare
http://www.againwiththecomics.com/2008/03/fun-with-numbers.html
Again With the Comics. Thursday, March 20, 2008. I was reminded today of something that both annoys the hell out of me, and which cannot ever really be fixed. After nearly two decades of reboots, restarts, and relaunches, there are precious few comics left that have kept their original numbering. It used to be a good. Restarted at #1 and the old Superman series numbering continued with Adventures of Superman. 424 Adventures of Superman went on for almost two decades, and only recently reverted to Superman.

Thursday, April 30, 2009. Mark Waid has better references than you. For the comic geeks among us. BM: You joined Crossgen around 2001, taking the reigns on a couple of titles and launching several new ones. What was that experience like? Like being first mate on the Pequod. Again With the Comics. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. DC is Losing Me. Photorealistic Bouncing Boy is TERRIFYING. Remember when the Legion of Superheroes. Was notoriously the DC book that was way too complicated to understand? Let's just admit that we've gotten to the point where the entire DCU is in a constant state of Legion-Level migraine inducing complexity, shall we? Okay, I'll be buying this one. My pull list for DC Comics is taking a massive hit in the next couple of months as my beloved Doom Patrol.

Again With the Comics: Legion of Subpar Villains: 100 Feet of Failure!

Again With the Comics. Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Legion of Subpar Villains: 100 Feet of Failure! Made his one and only appearance in Wonder Woman #169 (April 1967), and surely must have driven WW artist Ross Andru "buggy" that month, having to draw all of those arms and legs. At least.
