http://canadiannursingstudent.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
An Expedition Through Nursing School (from a Freezing Cold Canucks' Perspective:). Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I received the package from the college yesterday! One step closer to my dream, Eeeee! The doubt I was experiencing a little while ago has been replaced with EXCITEMENT :) Thank god! I love that all the letters congratulated me on being accepted into the nursing program. That’s such a nice touch. :). I also called the health region to have them send me my vaccination records from here in Canada&...

An Expedition Through Nursing School (from a Freezing Cold Canucks' Perspective:). Friday, May 8, 2009. A few weeks ago I registered for classes for fall! I'm taking 4 courses (3 nursing and one biology). Getting my schedule all sorted out etc. reminded me that school is coming up darn fast! Only 4 months and I'll officially be a nursing student - crazy! My schedule is a little all over the place because I really wanted to get this specific teacher for A&P. People RAVED about her on. Oh, I also went to m...

An Expedition Through Nursing School (from a Freezing Cold Canucks' Perspective:). Friday, December 25, 2009. Oh my goodness, the semester is over! I never expected it to fly by the way it did. Hopefully that trend continues since my program is 4 years long - well three and a half now WOOOHOOO! Sorry that this blog is so overdue - they really mean it when they say your life becomes school. We had our scary skills test at the end of the semester. The profs ended up being so lovely during our test(some...

Salute My Scrubs: September 2009
http://salutemyscrubs.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Life of a Nursing Student. Monday, September 14, 2009. As I walked out of her room and passed the nurses station I again wondered about how many patients these men and women in scrubs encountered on a daily basis with such lonely lives. We enter this world alone, but it is to be that we also exit our lives alone? Our existence on earth can not be so short for us to not leave our bodies surrounded by at least one soul standing witness to all that we were. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Life of a Nursing Student. Saturday, March 13, 2010. It's been a while. Wonderful blog of mine, I have not forgotten you. I'm frustrated, burnt out and so very desperate to not have my stomach in knots. May 9, 2010 at 8:53 AM. Seems like any nursing students have similar path. You showed me I am not the only one to struggle. Thanks for sharing! September 21, 2010 at 5:32 PM. We created an infographic about the nursing shortage. The Life of a Nursing Student. Monday, July 13, 2009. Buck up, Cowboy. The last time I posted here was over 4 months ago. I'm burnt out because I'm working a minimum wage job, which I am very fortunate to have, but it just makes me feel utterly crappy. I am worth more than just $8 an hour. My ego feels kicked, punched and slapped every time I step into the workplace. I love earning the paycheck, but I'd love to be more financially independent because I know I am capable of earning much more.
Salute My Scrubs: Dr. Crazy Woman
http://salutemyscrubs.blogspot.com/2009/08/dr-crazy-woman.html
The Life of a Nursing Student. Friday, August 21, 2009. Choosing a doctor from a list of physicians my health insurance company provided was like trying to find a light switch in the dark. I decided to the narrow the search options down to my zip code. Finally, the list was a bit easier to manage. I browsed the list for a female doctor and came across a Dr. Tracey Woman. I called her office and made the appointment. Flash forward to the day of the appointment. December 8, 2010 at 10:10 PM. Crazy miracle ...

View my complete profile. Midterms, round 4. My stethoscope is here! Meme: What does your stethoscope look like? My first code. Of sorts. (part I). I (and every other blogger I know) have been getting a lot of email requests asking me advertise or repost things I do not care about or wish to endorse. I do not make any money. Off this blog - any endorsements I may make are strictly because I am personally. Pleased with the results. If you want to spread the word about something, make your own blog! So my ...

Salute My Scrubs: November 2008

The Life of a Nursing Student. Sunday, November 30, 2008. And so it begins. I hope my posts here will be an inspiration to both myself, and to anyone else that may choose to read this. . I've spent the past few days playing with the layout design. I'm still not sure if I'm satisfied with the layout, or the colors. To be honest, I suppose it's not the layout design that I'm being jiffy about, but it has more to do with the creation of this blog itself. . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Life of a Nursing Student. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. The spring season, however, I am more than happy to experience. Everyone comes out of hibernation. Those soft pastel colors of clothing, flowers, and clipper moods makes venturing out into the world much more enjoyable. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). LaLa Land, Southern California, United States.
