192; propos .

PKU Families: May 2009
http://pkufamilies.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sharing Stories, Recipes, Research. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. If I may toot my own horn. A while back, I made a video explaining PKU. Well, there was a European organization for rare diseases that was running a video competition. I thought I would go ahead and submit my video (even though I was a bit embarrassed to show them my goofiness). If anything, my video was surely different- and PKU would get some attention. . Well, guess what? Yep The article is HERE. . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

PKU Families: Alphabet
http://pkufamilies.blogspot.com/2010/01/alphabet.html
Sharing Stories, Recipes, Research. Sunday, January 3, 2010. Cross posted at A Double Serving of Love. Ever since Ryan has been eating table food, we have tried to introduce "PKU language". We use words like "Low- protein" and "Phe". We don't like to use the words "can't eat" instead we say "doesn't eat". Today Ryan and I had a little conversation during lunch. Does Ryan eat chicken? Does Ryan eat meat? Ryan eats low protein foods.". Ryan eats low protein because Ryan has PKU. Can you say PKU?
