We are nearing the 18-24 month stage. What is a better word for this? Tantrums, testing boundaries, “no! 8221; and of course, my personal favorite, meal time battles. I know this time is a critical aspect of her development. As are my responses. As i never really feel 100% confident in my abilities, my skills, my techniques.

The Bridge Of The Americas. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Dry, trees, and drier. So this marked the beginning of my most favorite day of riding. With a late start we headed on southward. On Ladybird Johnson trail among the redwoods. I climbed the side of a redwood to get the pic. Stopped and cooked lunch on rt 1. The Bridge Of The Americas. Monday, November 22, 2010. After my accident in Panama, I knew my there were still issues with the front end of the bike. I took the bike apart (at the Hostel de Clayton where we stayed two nights along the canal) and determined both front forks were bent. There's still an issue or two to be fixed, but not enough to keep me from riding it home. Dealer in San Jose. Bike in the ER. Bent forks which were replaced. S in though. Tiles, really Laban? One crazy a day. The sun keeps shining. And life keeps happening. And we make it through. It's a miracle really. We shared easter weekend with my family. And attended their easter sunday church community celebration. It was pretty hip and groovy and made me want to boogie, for the most part. As part of the service, a couple shared. What "hope," the kind that comes from jesus, looks like. After the heart break of loosing an infant. They told their story. And it was really fun. And kept giving each other.

One crazy a day. I would not call myself a "rules" person. I have needed rules. Like i have needed my sanity. Here is what i have put down so far:. 1 check with mom first before using microwave for. 2 do not wake up early and make "potions" from kitchen condiments. "potions" require adult supervision. 3 pure maple syrup is not a toy. 4 no crunchy/ crumbly snacks in bed. 5 brushing teeth is mandatory, not optional, or part of the school year routine. 10 no tacks in walls. 11 no sharpies for kids. One crazy a day. The magic of ordinary days. From a year ago. I found it in my drafts. Jane won't be my horse! She never wants to be my horse! Honey, i can't help you with this. I'm not going to tell jane to be your horse. She just wants to visit. She always just wants to play visiting! I'd like to say the conversation ended there but it didn't. We spent some time after talking about our hearts when someone doesn't want to be our horse. And then how to be ok when they decide they do. We need grace people.
