Casa Segura Needle Exchange Program

Casa Segura reaches out to people on the street during three weekly needle exchange programs at outdoor sites in the Fruitvale District, Deep East Oakland and West Oakland. We trade clean needles for dirty needles, provide hot meals and harm reduction kits, and offer. I can get condoms, vitamins and HIV tests. I get information and resources. I even get acupuncture.". If you're an injection drug user or know someone who is, you can reduce the associated risks by learning techniques for better self care and emergency response. What to Do in Case of an Overdose.
