Breakups and lingering thoughts that accompany them. My question relating to this relationship is how have you guys dealt with unresolved questions or feelings about the relationship, other than stuffing them down and forgetting about them? I asked her what the real reason was for it, and suggested talking in person about this and she said that wouldn’t be good for the either of us. Was I dating an emotional cripple? Was I being cheated on? None of these matter now though. Be broken up or don’t. Both of ...

Ever have an intervention with an older relative? Not getting into details here, but I have a relative who is about to kill herself from overexertion related to a hobby of sorts. She’s far too old, has no help, and I expect that unless she stops someone will find her dead. We have openly hinted that she needs to stop. She gets very defensive and says we’re against her. Anyway, I’d be interested from hearing from anyone who has been in this boat. My experience is that when a person’s life becomes un...

Dealing with murder.(anonymous post). Friday night my hubby went to visit a friend of ours BF while he was at work closing up the bar. Someone burst in the back door and shot him three times, my hubby was five feet away from him and the guy who got shot died in my cousins arms. I’m not sure what my point of sharing this is, I just feel empty and completely worn out, too many emotions to go through and too many sleepless nights. How does one cope with all this? I’m running out of everything. Other then th...

I would like advice on what the rest of you are going through and what you think I should do in my situation. I make approximately 41,000 per year. 11,000 of that goes to taxes. I get back about 1,300. I have other expenses such as property tax, food, bills, and the same things all of us have to pay for. I do not qualify for medicaid. I do not qualify for a tax credit because the only thing they take into consideration is the 41k… not what I have left after taxes and bills. 1 possible doctor visit is $65.

Have I just become bipolar? For the past 19 years I have been struggling with low energy levels, low mood and lack of motivation, to the extent I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (which I disagreed with) I saw several psychologists in this time, but they all failed to recognise the signs of depression, as I wasn’t feeling sad most of the time – just tired and flat. Then the trouble began:. Nothing in my routine or lifestyle changed at all, but by the 8th of March I was feeling MUCH better R...

Making a plan towards goals, overcoming doubt. Among my various other frustrations in life the past few years, I’ve been trying really hard to make some smarter decisions to get me where I want to get. I’ll try to shorten this one because I tend to write really long winded stories usually lol. Here’s where I stand:. A few years out of college, had trouble finding relevant IT jobs. Worked as the IT guy for a few years, but got laid off. I really really want to get out of this area. Between gloomy weat...
