It’s now about a million times easier to add a status to your character! Gone is the old popup and in its place is a clean grid of big buttons waiting to be pressed. All the PH1 status effects are there, and if you need something a little more interesting you can type out a custom status and add it just as simply as before. As always, removing statuses is as simple as tapping on them. Feels good to get that off your chest, right? Posted 4 years ago. What's new on the Distiller. 2012 2016 Powered by Tumblr.

One more nice little feature tonight: you can now hover over rolls and attacks to see where, exactly, all those bonuses are coming from. The tooltips will only show up, though, if your powers have weapons with their bonuses filled out. The easiest way to get your character set up that way is to import a dnd4e file from the Character Builder; head over to the new character page. And pick a file with the very first button on the form. Beware that doing so wipes out all local edits to that character!

Character Distiller, Update: Bug Squashing
http://blog.cdistiller.com/post/27183209357/update-bug-squashing
A couple of Bug Fixes tonight:. We no longer import gear that the character has already sold off. We no longer delete flavor text when you import a dnd4e file into an existing character that has flavor text. We now properly detect text like “2d6 your Wisdom modifier” so we can do some math for you and substitute in your actual modifier, just like we do elsewhere. Head on over to The Distiller. To check it out! Posted 4 years ago. What's new on the Distiller. What's coming, and what you might not know.

Character Distiller, Little Things
http://blog.cdistiller.com/post/27959561255/little-things
We now detect multiple-use powers on import, so all you Leaders get your Words with two checkboxes. We no longer show usage checkboxes on At-Will or Property powers. We handle a case where weapon bonus were not being added but should have been; Magic Missile was the big one here. We handle a case where a feat or feature swaps out the stat that grants a bonus to a power. This lets Bladesingers get their Melee Basics with their Intelligence stat, and other similar feats for a few other classes.

Vancian Magic users will now get a handy popup after every Extended Rest that will let them prepare their spells for the day. Just select the ones you want and we’ll gray out the others just as if you had used them. As always, the used powers are just a click away if you have some houserule, magic fountain, or other mysterious effect to bring them back. Go fire up your favorite Wizard over on The Distiller. You can now do math in the heal and harm dialogs. This makes it easy to heal that. That the cleric just tossed your way, or to take that. You took (after your resistance, thank Correlon) because the Fire Demon is currently weakened. To make it easier on the mobile users, a keypad is included right in the dialog to tap out your equation. So head on over to The Distiller. And add up some damage! Posted 4 years ago. Update: Level Text and Portrait Saving. We no longer hide level you haven’t hit, but simply show them in a very light gray so they’re not cluttering up the view until you look for them. If you’ve set a custom character portrait (thanks for subscribing! You can now import a dnd4e file to update that user without reverting back to the default portrait. Head on over to The Distiller.
