I anticipate much celebration, but there’s not much real preparation you can do mentally for this sort of trip. I just have to get there and jump in! We arrived at Lwala village, and were welcomed so warmly and lovingly, it didn’t take long to feel surprisingly comfortable here. I had heard about the hospitality in Africa, but there’s nothing like receiving it- very humbling!
