One Stroke Fifty: January 2012
http://onestrokefifty.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 3 January 2012. Glenn Brown Limited Edition print. The artist Glenn Brown made a name for himself (and found a little notoriety too) by "borrowing" visuals from art history and popular culture, then embellishing them with his own imagery. Nominated for the Turner Prize in 2000, he is now represented by The Gagosian Gallery, where his works sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds. But the keen-eyed will also find his work selling through The Tate Modern's shop. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://onestrokefifty.blogspot.com/2011/01/david-shrigley-edition-thats-really.html
Monday, 31 January 2011. A David Shrigley edition that's really a unique drawing. Untitled 2009' by David Shrigley is a limited edition of 100, each hand drawn on Canaletto 300gsm paper. The edition is presently for sale via Counter Editions. For just £480, which makes it a bit of a bargain. After all, for less than £500 you're essentially getting a unique work by one of Britain's wittiest artists. Not to mention collectable - at last count the Tate Modern. Had ten Shrigleys in its permanent collection.
