Lavender Days: A Little Town Called Kandanga
http://lavenderdays.blogspot.com/2008/01/little-town-called-kandanga.html
Dreaming of Tranquilty and Serentiy. Thursday, January 3, 2008. A Little Town Called Kandanga. This month of December 2007 has brought many a surprise to me. Firstly my little Ruby has become quite ill with severe neutropenia and has had many tests, trips to the hospitals and countless amounts of anti-biotics. Now the poor little thing is on daily injections to help with her white blood count. It seems 2008 is going to bring us some real happiness,. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Handmade: Sheep-shearing
http://jeanetteshandmadestuff.blogspot.com/2011/09/sheep-shearing.html
Today I went to watch sheep-shearing at Katrinetorps gård. It was great fun. One sheep took approximately 2-3 minutes to shear. Unbelievable! At first I thought it looked a bit brutal but then you saw that the sheep didn`t seem to mind. They loved getting rid of the warm fleece. This is Torgil and his primadonna Lisa. Hey Torgil, had I known there would be such a turn out I would have brushed my fleece". 65279;. Could I have some privacy please! My butt is showing for crying out loud! Am I cute or what!

Handmade: I need flowers in the rain
http://jeanetteshandmadestuff.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-need-flowers-in-rain.html
I need flowers in the rain. Today I bought a winter jacket and a cap! The terrible thing isn’t the fact that I bought it now even if it’s not even September yet, the terrible thing is that I want to start using it at once. The weather is so cold, rainy and grey right now that all I can think about is my new warm jacket! I need autumn flowers to brighten up my day! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). That’s why I am attending ihannas. DIY postcard swap and that’s why I have been making postcards this weekend. Ten postcards for ten different persons from all over the world and I will receive 10 in return. I used handpainted paper with vintage lace, buttons and photos. I had so much fun making them! I will start sending out mine tomorrow and they will be sent to the UK, Australia, USA, Czechoslovakia, Sweden and Japan. I don’t know what I enjoy the most – sending or receiving? The year of the Tiger.

Fashion statements from the commentbox. One of my blogfriends. Has a newly found interest in fashion blogs….and glasses. I have read her blog over the years and I absolutely love her posts which are usually spot on and almost always very funny. Can’t wait to read her posts on glasses and see the photos….being a person forced to use glasses myself, inspiration and pep talk are always welcome! Inspired by her I did a little embroidery. Of what? A pair of glasses of course. Thank you dear friend. If you wan...

I hope she will like it. Dear friends, I have neglected you. So sorry about that. It’s not intentional though, time just seems to go by so fast. My holidays are due in a week’s time but I can’t quite grasp the fact that it’s actually July. If you ask me I would swear that it is the beginning of June still…. So here is a quick update of what has been going on in my life since last time I wrote…. My youngest daughter graduated school. Next stop High School! First stop was Gustav Adolfs torg – the cit...

Oh no So much more fun to create a Tiger head than starting on the preparations for my daughters high school graduation that is due soon. Especially since the preparations mostly means cleaning up the house. I started out by spending some quality time in front of my computer but this time I googled Tiger template instead. I found this great Japanese site. On the page was blue button and I hopefully pressed it and hoped it meant down load pattern …and what do you know – it did! June the 11:th is the Inter...

Christmas is all about candles for me, lots and lots of them and I like to pimp them a bit too. As my first december DIY I would like to show you how to make candle-rings out of wire. It is very easy and when my daughters were younger they made them by the dozen as Christmas presents. You need: Wire, flush cutters, pearls and a candle for measureing. 1 Make a ring of wire that fits your candle. 2 Cut of a piece of wire and fasten it to the ring. Tread a pearl on the wire and secure it on the ring. Thank ...
