Malaika Babies Home was set up to prove that children could be placed into families rather than institutions. We had to change hearts and minds by showing that it was possible. I've wanted to see the botanical gardens of Entebbe, Entebbe being the former administrative capital of Uganda until the 1960s, an hour's journey towards Lake Victoria.
