http://ryanandheatherbartron.blogspot.com/2014/11/may-2014.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. We celebrated our 8th anniversary on May 4th. And Cinco de Mayo on the 5th. Nathan got to go to the Kindergarten Round-up and ride a school bus! I celebrated Mother’s Day with a fiesta and program at Nathan’s preschool. The day of, Nana and Papa celebrated with us. Here’s Emma wearing her great-grandma’s necklace. As usual, my kids. Having their picture taken with me. Despite appearances, Nathan did NOT hit his sister over the head with that rock. We enjoyed beautiful weather.

Monday, September 30, 2013. At the beginning of August, my Grandma Ward came to visit my parents for a few days. I loved getting to spend some time with her and love that my kids got to know her a little better. I somehow didn’t get any pictures while she was here! I know my mom did, and I’m so glad she thinks about those things. I did get pictures of the kids at the park when Grandma was visiting, but none with Grandma. While we were there, Ryan took advantage of our empty house and worked on a few othe...

Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Nathan’s Ninja Turtle Party. To celebrate Nathan’s 5th birthday, we invited some friends over for a Ninja Turtle Birthday Party. All the kids got to choose a ninja mask to wear, then we played pin the pepperoni on the pizza and practiced our throwing star skills. Everyone showed off their ninja skills:. Of course we had pizza for lunch- it’s a Ninja Turtle’s favorite food! And you can’t forget the green ooze punch! Emma can’t believe all the ninja turtle options! We got tickets...

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Emma’s Birthday Party. I’ve been putting off posting about Emma’s party, because I have so many pictures! Ever since Emma was a tiny baby, Nathan has been telling me that her birthday would be a flower party, so that’s what we did! Nana, Papa, and Auntie Leslie came over for dinner, and presents and cake. Emma was, of course, spoiled with many presents! Emma definitely knew just what to do with it! Ryan and Heather Bartron. Thursday, July 25, 2013. I’m still here! Kind of . . . It’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog, and I’m overwhelmed by all the catching up I have to do, but I’m still here! We’re plugging away at our little house, and probably making a lot more improvements than we realize. It’s easier to see all the work that still needs to be completed! Ryan and Heather Bartron. Monday, March 31, 2014. January was thankfully, blessedly quite. It’s so nice to have a stress-free month after all the holidays. Here’s a few pictures of our kiddos:. Ready for warm weather! In the meantime, we play inside (and make lots of messes). I know this one is kind of blurry, but I love it because you can tell Emma is saying “theese! Hair cut time for me. I love these guys! Ryan and Heather Bartron. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. December 2013, Part 2. We make our husbands have fun together too.

Wednesday, May 7, 2014. I can’t believe my baby is 5 now and starting Kindergarten soon. Where does the time go? Nathan started his special day with a special birthday breakfast, then we headed to playgroup for the morning. I think Nathan felt very special and very loved on his birthday this year. He got a special visit from his wonderful primary teacher that afternoon and got to bring treats and wear a birthday crown in preschool the day before. Trying out his new t-ball set from Nana and Papa.

Thursday, December 12, 2013. Looking through my November pictures, it looks like a lot of random ones, mostly of Emma. So besides Thanksgiving, here’s our random November:. The kids and I walked down Main street to see the Veteran's day parade. It was cold and noisy and Emma wanted to sit in the street, so we didn’t stay long, but I feel like we can’t miss out being in walking distance from one of the largest Veteran's Day parades in the country! I could just eat these two up! Can you spot the baby?

Monday, June 3, 2013. Chronicles of a Money Pit: Part One. Many of you know that we bought our first house a few months ago. I thought I’d share some of the details of our home buying/home owning/home renovating experience. We commenced praying A LOT and decided that, despite a bit of logic, this truly was meant to be our home. This house had been on the market for about 9 months, with no interest. Then, the day before we were going to put an offer on it, someone beat us to it! I have holes in my floor!

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. In March, we flew down to Arizona to visit Ryan’s family. His parents live there, as well as his sister Janelle and her 5 kids. Ryan’s other sister, Jenn and her husband flew in from Tennessee and we had a big crazy week long reunion! My kids were awesome on the plane! Still stressful, but man they were good. For the most part, we spent the week soaking up the sun and playing in the pool and spending time together. Like father . . . These two became such good buddies! The whole t...
