in my element: Response >> Presentations
http://jenaleneanderson.blogspot.com/2009/05/response-presentations.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2009. The presentation for me was also good practice for the interview road ahead. While other companies may be more intense or less understanding of mistakes then Meredith, it gave me a little boost of confidence in my capabilities not only as a designer but to speak with purpose. Congratulations to everyone on their projects! Posted by Jena Lene´. September 28, 2009 at 12:35 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Crush on Color: Response: Meredith visitors and advice
http://crushoncolor.blogspot.com/2009/05/response-meredith-visitors-and-advice.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Response: Meredith visitors and advice. Like everyone else has already posted, I can't believe it's actually over. (The Meredith project, that is.) Probably the single biggest project of my college career, so far anyway. I had to miss one of the presentations, but the ones I saw were wonderful! Each group had creative ways to present themselves. (and lots had treats! Always a good idea.). Hope everyone got a chance to relax a bit and enjoy it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

in my element: You Can't Miss
http://jenaleneanderson.blogspot.com/2009/04/you-cant-miss.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. So, I came across this following my blog. The website it comes from isn't necessarily fantastic, but I wanted to show this for the people doing web projects for meredith. I think this would be a great way to display the site work on our personal site. You could have detail shots of elements you designed, and then the overall screen shot of the site.the same presentation idea as this:. Posted by Jena Lene´. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Crush on Color: This week in Veer: Photochromic Ink!
http://crushoncolor.blogspot.com/2009/04/this-week-in-veer-photochromic-ink.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. This week in Veer: Photochromic Ink! A week or so ago, I got this neat little cardboard postcard from Veer. (You should sign up to be on their mailing list for lots of cool stuff.) Anyway, it was a great, type-based beautiful postcard, that I didn't think much of at the time. Here's what it looks like. I was looking at it again today and actually read it (smart, I know) and discovered that if you take it outside, you'll get a special message. Really? View my complete profile.

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. As we looked at everyone's site's on Tuesday, I took a second to think back about where we all were at the beginning of the semester. Not only did we all accomplish the massive amount of design work and special projects, but we're all able to build a functioning, attractive web site. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, May 6, 2009. I found this great site called Pikaland. Check it out. It has tons of fun illustration. The site creator also puts together submitted illustrator work from artists all over and creates pika packages that you can order. Very fun and unique gifts, as well as inspiring ideas! Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Response Inside Columbia Goes Digital. I'll be getting back to you about this- why Inside Columbia bumped this up on the to-do, and how it actually goes for them. . But from the design aspect-if issues are going to go digital, could we design with that in mind? Maybe different column widths to prevent a reader from losing their place when zoomed in? Or more structured pages? Here is a link to the website: http:/ www.insidecolumbia.net/. Posted by Jena Lene´. 6 Sense of Humor.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. That's sexist, I know-sorry! But I can't think of any other way to put it! Posted by Jena Lene´. You Can't Miss Logo Pond. There are two different sites.the main site is. And the awards are featured on. Posted by Jena Lene´. Last week I also spent time designing a cover for a photo story about women in traditionally men's work roles. The cover won't be running because the photo story is no longer taking place but I had fun with this cover so I will still post them! This week I'...
