Trade Fair in Business School | minhsuanliang

Trade Fair in Business School. January 20, 2015. After collecting reference pictures for window display, this is what we did for our product’s display. You might ask “Which one is the product? 8221; or “What is it for? Well, our product is not the cool glass head, it’s the “sleeping device” on the glass head! With the sleeping device, you can place your own earphone into the ear protector instead of putting it into your ears. Of course it is not 100% sound proof, but it works well especially with music!

So, taking our prototype of Ella to the trade fair was all good and well but we knew going into it we wouldn’t get much interest because our target market simply wouldn’t be there. That was fine, we still got some good feedback from an older, experienced generation. A few were downright enthusiastic about it! Here we are, all professional and stuff:. But probably most im...

Masters Student in Creative Economy. It’s my damn business! November 13, 2014. November 13, 2014. This is hard. Part of our programme requires us to develop a product and create a business around it, get it into the market and turn a profit by March. (read: caffeine). So, I was eager at the beginning of the programme because I knew this was coming and I wanted to be prepared and develop a strong team and a talented team. Day one of class I met Jonas. My second target was Vania. Next victim was Aleem.

Masters Student in Creative Economy. April 27, 2015. Final product. Final pitch. Final preparations. Final OMG WHERE DID THE TIME GO! So we got our report done, Vania (our resident beautifier) made it beautiful and then it was time to begin practicing our business pitch we’d be doing at the final dragon’s den. And we all wanted to go out with a bang and do quite well because we had reached a point with Ella that we, I believe, were all quite proud of. Far better than we were expecting! Let It Go | Kaitlin Wright

Masters Student in Creative Economy. October 2, 2014. October 2, 2014. Americans are considered a lot of things…rarely victims. But these past two weeks have left me feeling slightly victimized (and despondent) by my education in the states. I’m bright, ambitious, charismatic and clever. I’ve never questioned whether or not I would succeed in the things I set my mind to. Until now. I barely even know these people! But when I sat back (with wine) and actually asked myself. So – like Elsa from Frozen...
