Chronicle of a Croydon Boy. A diary of a nobody, but on the turf and under it all men are equal, so I'll carry on regardless! Sunday, 29 June 2014. SECRET GARDEN - ADAGIO. Music is so subjective of course. What is a masterpiece for one is just a noisy sound to others. However, this piece is to me so relaxing and beautiful I'm just hoping that somebody who stumbles upon this blog will find it worth a listen. A Cuban In London. That was a sublime piece of music. Many thanks, you have made my evening. Yep S...

Chronicle of a Croydon Boy. A diary of a nobody, but on the turf and under it all men are equal, so I'll carry on regardless! Wednesday, 21 November 2012. Oh For the Wings of a Dove . Or any other bird . We took a drive on Sunday to a place near Lincoln: Wickenby Airfield. This used to be a WWII RAF bomber station but is now a privately owned airfield. It was a gloriously sunny day and there were quite a few small aircraft and microlights enjoying the freedom of the skies. Rejoined Pat in the "NAAFI" are...

Chronicle of a Croydon Boy. A diary of a nobody, but on the turf and under it all men are equal, so I'll carry on regardless! Sunday, 12 April 2015. Remembering a Day in Scotland. After reading the blog "Sixth in Line" by Elisabeth in the land of Oz, I harked back to one day some six years ago when we had to go to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to see a lady doctor who outlines a procedure my wife, Pat, was going to have. Here's the link back to 2009: http:/ bit.ly/1z7SWkg. 12 April 2015 at 16:53. Dear Mi...

Walter Bee: December 2009
http://walter-bee.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Four seasons of life, mine and the honeybees, in the garden and in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Experience is a brutal teacher. But you learn, my God, do you learn. Sunday, December 27, 2009. You Gotta Have Faith". This is the bottom board in Ora. There is debris caused by activity in the front, middle of the hive. I assume this is where the bees are clustered. There is also some varroa in each hive. Yuck. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Monday, December 21, 2009. I think this might be the one.

Just I and Myself
http://justiandmyself.blogspot.com/2014/01/new-year-storm-pale-light-gives-way-to_8.html
Pale light gives way to darkness,. Sodden clouds batter the horizons,. Releasing veils of tears upon the ravaged canvas of New Year’s Day. Behind windows awash with travelling rivulets,. I watch the fury unleashed in rhythmic heartbeats of destruction. Wind sirens call to me in hypnotic voice seeking entrance to my thoughts,. Whispering at each washed out pane calling me into their turbulent playground. Peppered with water buckshot,. I traverse quagmire pathways of once solid lands,. A human kind of human.
Just I and Myself: Sunday morning musings....
http://justiandmyself.blogspot.com/2012/05/sunday-morning-musings.html
Because God is good! Sitting here on my stoep on this Sunday morning it just comes to me again. We tend to be so caught up in our everyday lives of strife and struggle that we completely miss the blessings He pours out on us everyday. Those everyday miracles that we just take for granted. The beauty of a wonderful song that lifts your spirit to the high heavens. The soft touch of a cat nuzzling your cheek to get attention, simply because you are her special human. A human kind of human. Hope you are well.

Chronicles of a Crocheter | Just another WordPress.com site
Chronicles of a Crocheter. Just another WordPress.com site. October 20, 2010. Bernat MACAL – Clue #5. Posted by wenp under Bernat MACAL. First of all, I have been joining the colors at the end instead of just fastening off and joining the next color with a slip stitch. It makes this easier. Second, I have been making sure to crochet in the ends of the yarn as I go, that way there are not a whole bunch of loose ends to weave in when the square is finished. This saves quite a lot of time. Restore to me the...
