My niece, the one living with me because she doesn't make enough money to live on her own, the extreemly brittle diabetic, that one. just announced that she is pregnant. I'd like to think that my sister (her mother) will step up and offer to help, but I can't help feeling like this baby is going to end up living with me too, sigh! Apr 28th, 2009 at 10:07 PM. I've not journaled before, but I recently went on a trip to Thailand with a friend (crankycatlady) who posted to her live journal every day. It made me think that this might be kind of fun. Butternut Squash, Chick Pea and Spinach Madras. Soften one diced onion. And two crushed cloves of garlic. Using a little oil. Stir through a heaped desert spoon of madras curry paste. And then add one butternut squash (large dice). And a can of chick peas (drained). Stir well to coat all the ingredients with the paste. Add a can of chopped tomatoes. And a can and a half of water.
