Friday, December 01, 2006. Last Monday was my last day at the school. The day was spent trying to get all the material I had gathered sorted into easily accessible folders so that Ian could find the information and the photographs that he needed. Why? Because Ian is in the process of updating the Percy Mdala website. I feel a bit guilty really as I was meant to do much more work on that than I got a chance to,. All the best for now. Thursday, November 23, 2006. Sorry, more about Cockroaches. Due to popular demand I am adding my latest cockroach story. It was now 4.10am. So, the rest of the night was spent with the light on with me dozing fitfully. At 5am I pulled back the curtains to let the dawn light in and opened the window. By this stage I had a headache and I worried that the DOOM was having an effect on me! Donna (now called Donna Doom as she disposes of most of the cockroaches) came in in the morning and removed the corpses.

Friday, September 15, 2006. Two weeks today I leave Belfast not to return until mid January. All a bit daunting. As usual I am a bit of a Last minute Lil. Haven't sorted out my international driving licence - but made a phone call today about it. etc etc. The To Do list stands at 5 sides of A5 paper at the moment. Humph, rip off I think. Monday, December 18, 2006. Each Christmas the office staff go out onto the streets of Cape Town and sell copies of The Big Issue. It is a mark of support and respect for the vendors and to remind them all what the vendors go through each and every day. Any proceeds made go the vendors.
