My Crazy Life: Today has been better
http://mylittletwiblings.blogspot.com/2009/03/today-has-been-better.html
The ups and downs of 2 kids 16 months apart. March 29, 2009. Today has been better. I decided a few things after yesterday's post. 1) It REALLY bothers me when Lacey doesn't nap. She still needs a nap and I still need a break. 2) We often put her PBK chair up next to her bed to discourage her from climbing out. This suddenly is making her very upset. So today I didn't even bother putting it there. 3) She is also determined to read books before naptime. 10 minutes of reading and she was asleep. Stone Wall...

My Crazy Life: are we winning this battle?
http://mylittletwiblings.blogspot.com/2009/03/are-we-winning-this-battle.html
The ups and downs of 2 kids 16 months apart. March 27, 2009. Are we winning this battle? So far today he has taken 2 naps in his crib, putting himself to sleep, on his tummy. I think it works. And its a good thing he isn't my first baby because there is no way I would ignore the advice of never letting a baby sleep on his tummy. At this point we are doing what works, and this REALLY seems to be working. I also have the angel care monitor and that helps some : ). March 27, 2009 at 9:06 PM. Year of the Mom.

My Crazy Life: Growing and Growing
http://mylittletwiblings.blogspot.com/2009/04/growing-and-growing.html
The ups and downs of 2 kids 16 months apart. April 17, 2009. Miles had his 2 month appointment last monday and Lacey had her 18 month appointment as well. I was pretty impressed with myself that I planned it out to happen that way ; ). He weighed 11 pounds 3 oz and was a whopping 24 inches long. I think his weight to length ratio was somewhere around the 3rd percentile. Poor kid, long and skinny! He is pretty much in all 3-6 months clothes, thanks to his length. We read a lot of books, her favorites are ...

Anything But Ordinary: They Always Joked it Would Skip a Generation
http://anythingbutordinary-dana15.blogspot.com/2012/02/they-always-joked-it-would-skip.html
Sunday, February 5, 2012. They Always Joked it Would Skip a Generation. This is just one of a thousand pictures (literally! That our son, Xavier has drawn in the last year. He has a serious love affair with markers and crayons and drawing pictures, and it makes my heart smile to see his creative mind at work. In the drawing above "Puke Man" (left) is saving Santa from "Pusher-Man" (right) by letting Santa ride on his puke - how lovely! But seriously - where does he come up with these things?

Letters to my Children. Lessons learned watching you. A Love Story Unfolds. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. My Precious Lydia,. Wow, you are 2! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago we were running through the rain to get in the van to head to the hospital to have you. Yet, you have kept our days very full. I didn't have a clue holding onto that sweet baby how much personality and energy you would have! No amount of money could ever replace my love for you, even on our most difficult days! You still love "H...

Anything But Ordinary: More Sewing Projects
http://anythingbutordinary-dana15.blogspot.com/2012/01/more-sewing-projects.html
Monday, January 2, 2012. All spread out on his bed. It's hard to really get the full effect in this shot, since the safety rail blocks it from falling over the edge of the bed, so you can get a better view of it in the next two shots. The four corners are the same material as the valance on the window. Side one. This one is made of cotton and will be on the top for now. In the summers he can flip it over to have the 'cool side' down. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
