What I'm up to in life. Mostly making movies, but I do other stuff too sometimes. Sunday, August 26, 2012. Kim and I finally got to the Zoo before the end of the summer! We brought our cameras. What I'm up to in life. Mostly making movies, but I do other stuff too sometimes. Saturday, March 9, 2013. Hanging with the Horses. Kim and I moved recently into a small house that shares property next to some horses. I feel like I've escaped the city in a way when I see these horses hanging out behind my new home. What I'm up to in life. Mostly making movies, but I do other stuff too sometimes. Thursday, December 20, 2012. Return to Middle Earth in 48 frames a second. I've learned a lot in the last ten years. While I like to think that I'm the same as always, experience has definitely had an impact on me. Peter Jackson did loose some credibility with his overindulgent 'King Kong' movie. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Grrr I am trying so hard to figure out how to say this without comparing the kids but I can't find the words. Trace (the few hours he is awake) objects to spending time face down. The kids and I have tried all sorts of distractions. Maddox spells names, reads him papers, and sings to him. Natalya does puzzles and plays dolls by/with Trace. Trace is unconvinced this is a worthwhile endeavor and does the following within moments of being placed face down. Notable Trips with Stories.

Sunday, November 4, 2012. We decided to get a taxi since it would be a more direct route to our hotel, but without a car seat all the taxis refused. We eventually found a shuttle that agreed to drop us off and Mike held a sleeping Maddox the entire ride to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel, Maddox woke up. Friday, May 29, 2015. We heard rave reviews about the strawberries at Davis Farms so we headed out to the farm to pick strawberries. The lady at the counter mentioned that they didn't spray, so there would be weeds. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Rolls front to back (to get out of spending time on his stomach). Clothes: 3 month bottoms (I think he might have Mike's short legs), 6 months onesies (definitely has a long torso). Feedings: 5oz x 5times/day (about every three hours 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm); at least 20 if not 30 minutes for him to finish. He takes his time which usually isn't a problem.
