Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Created with Andrea Mosaic. Posted by Karen Case. Thursday, October 16, 2008. Mankind is No Island. This video directed by Jason van Genderen recently won Tropfest, NY. It was shot entirely with a cell phone with a budget of $57. Posted by Karen Case. Wednesday, October 15, 2008. I have been rather fixated with the notion of perspective lately. But all of life is simply a matter of perspective, yes? The same one I've been taking pictures of for the last week. I can see your per...

Den of the wolf named Kat: Photoshopping
http://kpendragon.blogspot.com/2008/10/photoshopping.html
Den of the wolf named Kat. Thursday, October 16, 2008. Hey guess what I'm not dead! Sorry I was sick yesterday-not really pretty. But I'm better today and well enough to not skip class work so yippies! Not that big of an alteration I know, but it looks good. I used the quick mask to select specific flowers then I used Image= Adjustments= Replace Color to change the purple to orange. So that's about it. Enjoy. October 16, 2008 at 10:06 AM. When I first looked at your second project I couldn't quite figure...

Digital Photography Studio: Filtering through Italy
http://alina-dpstudio.blogspot.com/2008/12/filtering-through-italy.html
Monday, December 8, 2008. Great shots, thanks for commenting, wasn't sure if mine was working. Your editing is awsome! I see no text? Your compositions are great, the text in the image,.you know, really artistic, and enjoyable. Thank you for sharing, this has been a real hard deal for me to get on the blog, I appreciate knowing it's there, was there music? I did try to make the images blend as much as possible, I see mistakes, and where I could improve, yet, I couldn't even upload it! Take care, Diana.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. I have been rather fixated with the notion of perspective lately. But all of life is simply a matter of perspective, yes? My perspective can be clouded by my pre-conceived notions about what something is, by my emotions that day, by what angle I am viewing something at, etc. Here I wanted to see what perspective I saw from this glass marble sitting on a glass table under a glass window. Note the church steeple in there? Posted by Karen Case. October 15, 2008 at 1:08 PM. I lov...

Digital Photography Studio: Cloning, Text Effects
http://alina-dpstudio.blogspot.com/2008/11/cloning.html
Saturday, November 8, 2008. Cloning, Text Effects. The text tool was really easy to use, I was able to modify the text into different shapes and give it various effects. In the first photo I used the shape button from the Text tool Options bar, resized the text and applied a Color Dodge blending mode. In the second photo I actually followed the video tutorial for applying a watermark. I just typed the text, resized and rotated it, then applied the Bevel and Emboss layer style. Digital Photography Studio: November 2008
http://alina-dpstudio.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. This is the best portrait shot I got this week, it was taken as the sun was setting. The only difficulty was that my subject was not too happy with being photographed, but I managed to get a few really good shots. I tried to make some adjustments in Photoshop to make it look more dramatic, but I didn't like what I got so I just posted the original photo. . Saturday, November 8, 2008. Cloning, Text Effects. Saturday, November 1, 2008. The second photo was taken on Church Street...

Den of the wolf named Kat. Sunday, September 28, 2008. I must appologize for not putting this up yesterday/ eariler. Saturday was the town's "fall festival" and my family was one of the venders there so I was manning a booth all day. And eariler we were finishing putting our basement back together after a month of renovating it. But excuses aside-on to the images! This one was taken in the morning. The pine tree lives beside my driveway. You can see the disfused light and no harsh shadows. On tuesday my ...

CCV Digital Photography: September 2008
http://ccvdigiphoto.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. Perspective is all about. It's a way to "know" something better or to judge it. What is the relationship that is has to something else? Posted by Karen Case. Friday, September 26, 2008. Walks along the side of the road yield amazing photos. Sometimes I find something interesting and work hard at composition - taking into account how the different aspects of the photo inter-relate to form a whole. But I believe that an ordinary shot can become extraordinary if. You determine ...
