Meetings are usually on the 3rd Tuesday of January, April, July, and October, but there has been a problem with finding meeting space. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 19, at 7 pm in the Tulameen Fire hall. Please make a special effort to make it to our January 19 meeting as it will be at the Fire Hall in Tulameen and, although out of sync with our previous plans, we will hold our AGM. Broadband is fine – until somebody trips over the chord. If the new information economy is considered important and rural connectivity is supposed to be part of that, then there’s something wrong. Does the information highway actually pass by here, or does it pass us by? I think that if we can’t even answer our e-mail in a timely manner then it’s time to ask for federal aid.
