And Two Became Three: Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
http://stanaland.blogspot.com/2011/01/peanut-butter-banana-muffins.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. Peanut Butter Banana Muffins. First day of my diet. I know you must be thinking, we have heard that one before! This time though, I am going to take it seriously. No more, "I'm starting again on Monday! Not after those numbers stared back at me when I got on the scale this morning. My other issue is that Rhys has become a picky eater. I have to sneak vegetables and fruits into his diet. "Of course you can have mashed potatoes for dinner! Enter the cookbook: Deceptively Delicious.

And Two Became Three: Cousins Weekend
http://stanaland.blogspot.com/2011/01/cousins-weekend.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. We traveled to Lubbock this weekend for my great aunt's 80th birthday party. I was so excited to go to the party because Rhys was finally going to meet his cousin, Connor. We don't have much family close by, so I jump at any chance Rhys has to hang out with his cousins; I think it is so important for him to be surrounded by family as much as he possibly can. I just love his momma (even though she is an aggie! You should check out her blog. And just because I love his smile:.

Sandstone Creek Living: January 2015

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. My oldest (5) made up a song this morning. My middle (3) the Big D learned said song very quickly and soon was providing backup vocals. Little baby making trouble. Doo doo whoop doo doo. Could you move the baby to the couch. Little baby making trouble. Doo doo whoop doo doo. I'm actually pretty impressed. Not being musically inclined, I'm not sure if it has more of a Blues or Jazz feel. Posted by the Wife. Saturday, January 10, 2015. I am short tempered. I am making an effort.

Thymely Stitches: October 2011
http://thymelystitches.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 17, 2011. There are scads of pumpkin recipes floating around these days and I've tried a couple that were good but my all time favorite pumpkin recipe is still a classic Pumpkin Bar with Cream Cheese Frosting. I like them more than a cake because the frosting/cake ratio is closer to being balanced. Haha! If you don't care for cream cheese frosting, #1 What is WRONG with you? Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting. 1 2/3 c. sugar. 1 c veg. oil. 15 oz canned pumpkin. 2 t baking powder.

Thymely Stitches: My "Learning Curve"
http://thymelystitches.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-learning-curve.html
Thursday, July 7, 2011. Whenever I spend time in quilting circles I usually always hear at least one person express their fear of curved piecing. I admit, I was fearful too. Until I found a pattern that was done up into such a beautiful quilt I HAD to give it a try. This is the result. As usual, my long arm quilter made up for anything lacking due to my inexperience. I love her for that! Don't the blocks below look a little bit like old fashioned baby carriages. Okay, maybe I went too far that time!

Thymely Stitches: 3-D Starburst Tutorial
http://thymelystitches.blogspot.com/2011/09/3-d-starburst-tutorial.html
Sunday, September 11, 2011. I am SO excited about another 3-D technique that came to my attention last week. While these types of patterns do use a little more fabric, it is amazing how much depth and dimension they add to a quilt. This one comes from Linda over at her blog, Buzzing and Bumbling. She calls it a 3-D Starburst and I think it looks so attractive. The tutorial can be found here. It is such a clever way to use colored hankies too! Until next time. blessings to you. Thymely Stitches: March 2011
http://thymelystitches.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. If you have spent much time around young moms in the last couple of years you have seen the classy, fashion forward nursing covers that are so popular now. They go by all sorts of clever names but let's just stick with "nursing cover", okay? My blogging friend, Amy, over at Diary of a Quilter. Has a superb tutorial. For making them and they will cost you a fraction of the price you would pay from a store or on line source. Blessing to you Luci. Links to this post. You can quickl...

http://thymelystitches.blogspot.com/2011/09/mountain-ash-wedding.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. I hope you all have had a chance to enjoy the gorgeous fall days we have been having. Crisp mornings and warm, sunny days help me block out the winter weather that is just around the corner. I am really a "spring" person but one thing I look forward to each fall is the changing color of the beautiful Mountain Ash tree in our yard. They are such a brilliant, orange color which makes them perfect for fall crafting. People who read this post also read :. Thanks for stopping by!
