The Butler's Did It: September 2009
http://kbandkb.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Butler's Did It. Here is some more of the fun we had in Utah. The photos pretty well say it all. We got a little dirty while riding 4 Wheelers. Aren't we quite the beauty queens. Lots of dirt and dust. It took me 30 minutes to comb and wash all the dirt out of my hair. Probably would have been easier to shave my head. Kent had a great time also. Doesn't he look cute! It is great to be back but I sure needed a vacation. I feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). NASA Image of the Day.

The Butler's Did It: August 2011
http://kbandkb.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The Butler's Did It. I finally have a few minutes to add my thoughts about turning 40. First the party. Starting at 5pm on the 15th of July Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets started. Then all the rest of the Harry Potter movies until Saturday evening. Then a short break and we went to the theater to see the final movie in the series. This was a ton of fun. I would love to do another movie marathon again (maybe not 8 movies next time, 2 or 3 should be good). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

the blue chisel: Texada Sunset 2
http://thebluechisel.blogspot.com/2015/02/texada-sunset-2.html
February 15, 2015. I've had a couple of weeks of running around and not much creative time but I did manage to get to finishing Sunset 2. I loved working on this print and I realized that, little by little, working downstairs in what used to be my parents' kitchen, it's feeling like my studio. Images of my mother, standing at the counter making dinner, something I watched her do too many times to count, are fading. Was that me? Anyway, the last two passes:. 9 x 7 inches. February 16, 2015. the blue chisel: October 2012
http://thebluechisel.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
October 28, 2012. This weekend I've got a lousy cold and my head feels like it's wrapped in fibreglass so I'm not at my best. But I really wanted to mark the print's completion so I've dragged myself over to the computer. Here then are the last two stages of the print:. Blossom - Reduction Linocut. 95" x 7.5 ". October 10, 2012. Autumn Colours and Colourful Tales. And now we were about two hours out of Vancouver, driving through the Manning Park area, the day golden and warm and everything around lit up ...

http://kbandkb.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Butler's Did It. Back from all the fun. We also spent some time with Charles. He is doing well with his schoolwork. We loved being able to be with him. He is a great blessing in our lives and we wish we could spend more time with him. After 10 days in Colorado we went to the "Happiest Place on Earth" More posting about that later. The Butler's Did It: March 2010
http://kbandkb.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Butler's Did It. SO who is with me. Then the quest to find the parts. Here is what you need to build your own: 1 electric hot plate, 1 metal pie pan (that will never bake a pie again), 1 round grill grate, 2 unglazed ceramic pots, 3 bricks, and 1 replacement grill thermometer. Now the fun part putting it together. When we shopped for ours we found it was best to start with the grate and the hot plate. These will determine the size of the pots you need. Here are the hints and tips that we have learned:.

the blue chisel: September 2012
http://thebluechisel.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
September 20, 2012. Green is the colour of my true love's lips, in the morning. In the morning when we rise. In fact, there's something drying on the racks pretty much every day and we're actually managing to even save some and not eat through it right away. Seriously though, bright green colour aside, they taste surprisingly good and they just feel so HEALTHY! The one in my earlier post here. Have to really squint to see the first one, it's very pale. Just a blush really. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
