Izumi, my cat and longtime companion, died today at the age of 18. It was a peaceful death, brought on by old age and steadily deteriorating health due to hyperthyrodism. And dash back up the stairs. My first two slide rules have arrived. My father had (has, rather) two slide rules that I can remember. One was metal and yellow, pegging it most likely as being a Pickett.
