8216;Till religion is a pile on the floor…. Jesus and not become. Him Christians can read that and say Amen! I’ve heard the old sermon illustration, You can live in a garage but that don’t make you a car! They will see that and agree wholeheartedly yet they don’t ever apply it to themselves. Jesus could point a finger straight at them and yell, Pharisees! And they would nod in agreement thinking, That’s telling them Jesus How dare they be so arrogant and judgmental? Sins and the Sinners who sin them.

8216;Till religion is a pile on the floor…. What I believe in a nutshell…. The Bible and Truth. Made it in. How do we know the right ones made it in? I am not saying God did not have a hand in writing the books in the Bible. I am not saying the Bible does not contain truth. I am not saying the Bible is false. I am not saying the Bible contains mistakes. I am saying there. Then again there might not be. How can we learn anything new if we only learn from those who believe exactly as we do? To be obeyed...

About this blog and its author. Faith, mutatis mutandis. If I become an atheist…. Becoming an atheist is not in the cards for me at this point. But if ever I find myself an atheist, here’s my pledge to you. If anything, I will spend my time trying to bridge the great divide and getting people to stop demonizing one another long enough to understand the positive aspects of the other side — and to exhort the true believer and the disillusioned alike to recognize that there. I guess you could say that IR...

Justification in Paul means Forgiveness | Critical Belief

Just another WordPress.com site. Justification in Paul means Forgiveness. February 13, 2011. I discovered something strange whilst studying Romans and find it absolutely astounding: Not once does Paul use the word “forgive” or any of it’s cognates (“forgiveness”, “forgave” etc.) to speak of God forgiving humans in Romans, nor in any of the 7 undisputed letters. Because Paul tells us so in Romans 4 albeit in a cryptic way. Paul goes on to say: “David says the. Apart from works” and then Paul quotes ...
