A nearly month-long adventure cross-country in an RV with our mutt, Howard. Monday, October 3, 2011. Day One, Insanity Ensues. We drove about six or so hours from Belmar, NJ to Shenandoah National Park today. Well, we aren't exactly at Shenandoah yet. We're actually at the super-sized Wal-Mart outside of Shenandoah because, fittingly, that is one place you can always count on to park your RV. You know, for all the recreation that goes on outside of a Wal-Mart. Why don't you try it with 6 feet of snow?

Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Sunday, April 25, 2010. We wanted to make it to the Badlands before dark and see Mount Rushmore and maybe the Crazy Horse Monument so we had a lot of driving ahead of us. This is what most of the drive looked like. We made it Rushmore, put Crazy Horse on our the “next time” list and got into the Badlands with enough time for a scenic drive and were able to enjoy the most gorgeous sunset yet as we set up camp. This path looks REALLY hazardous!
