They invited us to come and do some exploring with them while they were there. So, we spent 10 days in Peru. As we were leaving, Sr. Segovia gave us a couple of flowers to take home with us out of his beautiful garden. The first one looks like a hummingbird, and he told us that it was one of his inspirations for some of his amazing pottery. Friday, February 15, 2013. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Last week, we spent a couple of days with our friends Jerry and Rhonda in Vilcabamba. It's about a 4-1/2 hour drive from here and at approximately 5000 feet of altitude.
