My big-screen life | Culture Soup

https://culturesoup.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/my-big-screen-life

8230;the world through the eyes of a multicultural Nigerian. July 19, 2012. If I were only watching it on a screen and not living it, I would be doubled up in laughter at the present story of my life. Actually, I’m laughing anyway. It’s like a farce where everything goes slightly wrong or the exact opposite of what should happen does. Now if I could just have the funny without the frustrating, I’d be golden. In any case, I thank God because nothing lasts forever and in time this season will pass. Its a c...

Re: Black Sunday | Culture Soup

https://culturesoup.wordpress.com/2012/06/04/re-black-sunday

8230;the world through the eyes of a multicultural Nigerian. June 4, 2012. In All things Nigerian. It was shocking to see the news coming out of Nigeria yesterday about a plane crash that killed everyone onboard as well as some locals on the ground. Coming on the heels of a different plane crash in Ghana on Saturday involving yet another Nigerian airline, it was really awful news to take in. Where was all this caring when it mattered, when it could have saved lives and prevented such needless tragedies?

My musings about life, things I observe around me, and the phases I go through as I discover myself, my purpose and my passions. Friday, November 5, 2010. It's been a minute on this blog. I've been doing a lot of work and writing behind the scenes, updating my JDTA. Blog, writing short stories for magazines and working on our fiction series blog. Too, so I've allowed this blog to slide a bit. But rest assured, I'm doing great! Thanks to my friends who checked on me - I appreciate you guys! By Markus Zusa...

Favoured Girl's Blog: Five Years

http://favouredgirl.blogspot.com/2010/07/five-years.html

My musings about life, things I observe around me, and the phases I go through as I discover myself, my purpose and my passions. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Last weekend, hubby and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. I honestly can't believe it's been five years already since I donned a white dress, walked down the aisle and said my vows. I can also honestly say that it's been the most awesome decision I've ever made. Hey so I've been married for just over 1825 days! I guess he trusts me! Ooohhh....

Verastically Livin': Contrary To Popular Belief

http://verastic.blogspot.com/2010/12/contrary-to-popular-belief.html

Thursday, December 09, 2010. Contrary To Popular Belief. Crying babies are actually not cute. Maybe they're cute to their parents - especially their mothers, but they're not cute to me. No, I do not want to hear your crying baby while I'm talking with you on the phone. No, I don't want you to put your crying baby on the phone to say hello. I don't have babies - can you tell? Babies have a way of knowing the right time to not. If you're not the mother of the child, you just become casualty, like an innoce...
