The Sportif ride is a race-inspired group ride. Riders form a tight group for maximum draft from the wind and for easy communication. Group ride etiquette is a must! This ride is targeted for road racers and fast recreational riders. We recommended that new club members ride with the Sport group prior to joining the Sportif ride. This ride normally includes one rest stop. Meet on Perennial Dr. just west of Tenth Line. SEE MAP ⇒. 8:55 am, 7:55 am from mid June to the end of August. 80 - 150 km.

Originally established in 1971 as a road racing team, The Mississauga Bicycle Racing Club (MBRC) is an incorporated, non-profit organization located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The club is member run and funds its activities through annual membership dues and corporate sponsorships. Our racing team and its members compete in all categories in events throughout Ontario, Quebec, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Club has enjoyed success at all levels of racing. MBRC membership provides access to all of the club's programs including regular group riding opportunities. Members can choose between the Sport Ride or the Sportif Ride. The Sport Ride is targeted towards intermediate level road riding abilities while the Sportif Ride is geared to those fast recreational riders who want a higher tempo ride. Members have access to team clothing at favourable prices. Items can be pre-ordered in the spring and limited inventories are available mid-season.
