Two became One: Turning over a new leaf
http://hcsteele.blogspot.com/2011/07/turning-over-new-leaf.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Turning over a new leaf. Once again, I took a blogging hiatus and it has been tricky to start again. What should I re-start with? Is this important enough to blog about? Why can I not stay committed to blogging? I have been so encouraged and supported by others blog posts that it does not seem fair to take so much away without at least sharing my journey with others. I used to say I was so busy.LIE! Thank you for sharing. I have been truly blessed by your blogs! I have been blesse...

Tuesday, January 17, 2012. A New Year, New Goals, and A New Me! Welcome to the new year! 2011 has been a wonderful year with many joys, additions and memories. I am excited to start a new year with goals, resolutions, ambition and best of all, my little sidekick, Betsy Anne! I have decided to go back to work on a very part time basis to be able to stay home with Betsy Anne (born Nov 3rd). Not only do I feel more motivated to be crafty and a cooking queen I also want to be more organized and efficient!

Two became One: Down and Dirty!
http://hcsteele.blogspot.com/2010/10/down-and-dirty.html
Thursday, October 7, 2010. US Marine Corps Mud Run. Columbia, South Carolina. September 25, 2010. We headed out to paint the town since our running time was not until 3pm the following afternoon. Being from a small town, we took advantage of a fun town! A few more stops, a little singing and a lot of goofing off and we headed back to the hotel to cram in for the night. Rob really wanted the bartenders t-shirt. And then it was race time. Start line- 34,000 participants! The Boys- Galen, Trey, Chris and Rob.

Two became One: Starting the day on the right foot!
http://hcsteele.blogspot.com/2010/10/starting-day-on-right-foot.html
Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Starting the day on the right foot! Tuesday's are my Monday. After a Sunday at home, I feel relaxed, rested and ready to start the week. Then, the weekend hits me on Monday night and I feel worthless on Tuesday morning. Today, I was able to join in the Woman's Prayer Breakfast with a few gals from the Christiansburg NLCF group. It has never felt so great to get up early, meet for fellowship, sip hot tea and share our prayer requests with sisters. Here is to Tuesday mornings!

Two became One: June 2010
http://hcsteele.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. A wonderful weekend away! We successfully crammed as much as we could into one weekend-a fun 48 hours and 500 miles! Bright and early Saturday morning, mom and I headed back down to the corner to run the Abundant Life 5k. Back home for a typical Sylvester breakfast of homemade, whole wheat Belgium waffles. I needed to run another 5k afterward, but they always hit the spot. To our surprise, we found Blacksburg friends in our seats. What a small world! Even though the Nats did not w...

Two became One: April 2010
http://hcsteele.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 8, 2010. Yes, that pretty much sums it up. I hate, fear, cringe at the thought of, and wince at needles. I do not give blood, I put off immunization/booster shots and I certainly do not voluntarly get a flu shot. For now, I will continue to complain to my hubby about the pain and soreness in my arm. But soon, I will be footloose and pollen free. Until next time.Happy Allergy season! Thursday, April 08, 2010. Monday, April 5, 2010. Joining the blogging band wagon! What is the saying? This ...
