Finally we have a ball in south by the sea! We are fund-raising for Deaf Cultural Outreach Group. Our Space: a space for social learning and community engagement. 8211; an annual celebratory festival bringing the Deaf community, artists and traders together in the spirit of furthering our human and language rights. DeafProSussex – an on-line database of Deaf traders, Deaf professionals and Deaf friendly companies in British Sign Language. Creating spaces for artists and artistic development.

The event will be divided into ‘Zones’, each with its own focus: Arts, Workshop, Activities, Food and a central stage to join them. There will be a rotation of performers and artists on the central stage that will demonstrate a range of visual/ sign language art, short sketches of poetry, comedy and drama. The food zone will have a range of national foods and will, ideally, be run by deaf people or sign language users. Families will feel part of the event; they can bring their children.
