Monday, October 20, 2008. A very nice couple from Singapore asked if we would like them to take our picture inside the Indiana Jones ride. I love foreign tourist, they are very kind! For those of you that aren't familiar with the bamboo pole in the ride. if you tug it hard it will thunder and the ceiling will lower! I'm sorry, but they can't really expect people to just look at these. right? Ken and Josh just love this ride. we've all ridden it but these 2 can't get enough! Jessica was being ornery.

Sunday, December 20, 2009. We were all dressed in our Christmas best today. Makayla sang her first solo with the choir today and did an AWESOME job. There were some tears falling. We are so proud of her! Here are some pictures. Enjoy! The one with the 3 of them, yes Makayla is crying because Meeya kept stepping on her toes and we ran out of time for perfect ones. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Oh where Oh where is Meeya? So we were organizing the girls room and getting Meeya out of the crib. She loves her new bed and always wants to be in it. We haven't had any problems with her getting out of it every 2 seconds. Thank goodness. So when I came back in the room to finish what I had started, this is what if found. I just had to laugh. Monday, February 9, 2009. G'ma Cheryl and G'pa Mike invited Ken and I to join them on their trip to Costa Rica at the Los Suenos Resort last week and we had an amazing time! Ken and I have never left our kids for more than a weekend and it was way overdue. I figured that out last week LOL! Thursday, July 23, 2009. The entryway was bad. 30 year old wheat stalk wall paper that just had to go! In fact. it was what made me a little skiddish about buying the home until Ken said, "it's only wallpaper. we can take it down." Well. 30 year old glue backing is some serious stuff let me tell you! AUGH it was a HUGE undertaking. The finished product. we used a technique called "Tuscan Accents" on the small wall. Yikes Ken had to do this part! I am grateful for:. The fact that this project is done!

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. I went to lunch with my friend Samantha today and she told me the funniest story about Josh that happened on Sunday and I just have to journal about it. For those of you who know our Josh. you will understand the humor in it. As I searched I found him rushing out the front door and got his attention, scolding him for taking off. He was highly strung and said, "OK, I've got us seats but we need to hurry before someone takes them! Josh came ripping into the chapel during the opening.

Tuesday, May 12, 2009. One last photo of the kids at Asilomar! I got several more and may post them later but really liked this one of the two of them. it kinda looks like they are saying "goodbye"! Friday, May 1, 2009. It's official. we closed on the home today and received the keys, 2 garage door openers and 30 YEARS of Payments. Excited to have our own place again and we hope that we see many of you as you go back and do the church history tour. since we are right in the middle of it! The Gift of Time.
