Friday, June 26, 2009. My mom's former company (the company closed down unexpectedly) is a major home builder. They are selling off all the furniture that was in their display homes. It's new stuff and they are selling it cheap. Now, we don't need anything enough to justify spending money, except that Carson has a bunk bed with no mattress up top since he wasn't old enough to sleep up there. They are selling the twin mattress for $50! A brand new, very good mattress for that is awesome. So far, so good.

Saturday, February 25, 2012. They've Never Been To The Zoo! No, not until now. I enjoyed spending time with the kids and their friends. I'm just not a BIG fan of zoos. The hippie in me thinks "habitats" are depressing. The kids thought the flamingos were too smelly. Look how they lean. Sam did a great job on his first rock wall! Logan was never able to climb more than shoulder high. Sam was unsure at first but the lady helping them was on his side. She would yell, "You got this, Slim! And he DID get it!

I look behind me and there are three silly little ducklings. They follow me wherever I go. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Topsail Beach (8/4 - 8/7/09). A few days after our Cherokee Trip. We headed to Topsail Beach in NC. It was the first time the kids and I have ever step foot on a beach. It was a glorious experience and one that we hope to repeat again! Thing 2 in pink, Thing 1 in green). Everyone enjoyed the sand! Thing 2 looks for the perfect sand to play in. Curious George was the most excited of all!
