Nocturnal Wonderings: July 2010
http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. What a Difference a Decade Makes. Short post about age. When I turned 30 I remember waiting for something to happen. I didn't know what but I figured something life changing would happen. Now, almost 10 years later and it's a whole new ball game. Basically 40 gives and takes. Here's your extra 40 pounds and in exchange I'll take your eyesight. Life is going to be about 'where the hell are my glasses' and dieting. 40's the new 30, my ass. Thursday, July 22, 2010. I should note the ...
Nocturnal Wonderings: New Digs
http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2011/04/new-digs.html
Friday, April 15, 2011. Sorry, I'm definitely around but as you can see from this post written an entire week ago - I have just a few things going on! On a harder note this past week we had to put our family cat down - he was 20 and my mom was a wreck and my dad wasn't looking to fresh either. He had us all around him and I miss him horribly. It's just been too tough to even write about it and that's another reason I've been a touch quiet. Onwards - written 2 Thursdays ago. So basically this is your warn...
Nocturnal Wonderings: It's June
http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2011/06/its-june.html
Friday, June 03, 2011. It's June third or something like that so I can admit that yes, the hostage was released into loving hands before the presumed date and yes, it was gobbled up. That said, it wasn't perfect and I figure that comes with too high expectations but damn, something was missing. It's still a great book but not my fav of the series. But it's summer now and I'm doing some HTML coding that's making my head hurt and I just got a 3rd Tax installment but hey, where's the first two? Beware of wh...

http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 27, 2010. This One is About Reading! No, don't you dare click out! I'm about to begin my rantification (new word TM me) and you know how I love an audience. Okay, screw the innocent here's the deal, I just finished reading Play of Passion by Nalini Singh - excellent, excellent book and I'll try and write up a Cindy review over the next few days BUT and this is where my brain turns to screaming:. I CAN'T. TAKE. THE. WAIT! I don't know, I needed something more and because I was slavering...
Nocturnal Wonderings: A Change for the Better!
http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2011/05/change-for-better.html
Monday, May 09, 2011. A Change for the Better! This one is about books but some real life updates. On a belated note:. I bought my mom a Kobo e-reader from Chapters. It looks fantastic and I know Kristie(J) loves hers so I thought it would be better than my old standby which is gift certificates. Now, my mom is a reader but she doesn't read what I read which doesn't bother me in the least. My Mom was quite bewildered by what a Kobo was. So I said, 'You know how Oprah loves her Kindle? So I picked out a p...

Nocturnal Wonderings: Me and Baby B
http://cindyl.blogspot.com/2011/04/me-and-baby-b.html
Saturday, April 02, 2011. Me and Baby B. Yep, that's me in all my glory getting to snuggle up with Baby Benjamin. Turns out the happy parents have different ways of spelling Benjamin and now the new names have stuck. Benjiman - that was what his dad wrote in a card. When the baby stretches he get one arm way up in the air and the other is fisted close to his body and his Extremely Proud Gram now says 'Benji Man! Like he's a super hero. Seriously too cute. But I'm nothing if not over protective of my Gorg...

What A Dish!
A place for me to talk about cooking, travel, and more. Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies. I made these for our fake Superbowl party back in February. (Where I also made these Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups). They were really good, and pretty easy. The recipe uses a boxed brownie mix, but you could use your own homemade recipe. These were super popular. So popular I couldn't really get a decent picture of them. Lol! Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies. 1 box brownie mix (9x13 version).
